The port operator received four honours at the 2026 Indonesia CSR Brilliance Awards, recognising its community development, health, philanthropy and social impact programmes
PT Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL), a subsidiary of state-owned port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo), received four awards at the Indonesia CSR Brilliance Awards (ICBA) 2026, recognising its corporate social responsibility programmes and community development initiatives.
The awards ceremony was held at the Hotel Aryaduta in Jakarta on October 30 under the theme “Empowering Communities, Sustaining the Future.”
TTL was recognised in four categories: The Most Brilliant CEO in CSR Leadership, awarded to the company’s president director; The Most Brilliant in Health & Wellbeing Program; The Most Brilliant Philanthropy & Social Impact; and The Most Brilliant CSR Team Excellence.
More than 250 companies participated in the awards assessment process, according to the information provided by the company.
Syaiful Anam, TTL’s corporate secretary and legal counsel, said the recognition reflected collective efforts by employees and would encourage the company to expand programmes benefiting communities around its operational areas.
“These awards are the result of our collective effort and serve as motivation to continue developing programmes that provide genuine value to the community,” Anam said.
He said the company’s contribution should extend beyond port operations to include positive impacts on surrounding communities and the environment.
TTL’s social and environmental responsibility programmes include initiatives supporting local fishing communities, including soft-shell crab farming, assistance for groups producing payus fish crackers and mangrove cultivation.
The company also runs Youth Digipreneur, a programme aimed at developing young entrepreneurs, alongside initiatives supporting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
Its MSME development programmes involve 60 women organised into 12 groups living near the company’s operational area.
Through its soft-shell crab farming initiative, three beneficiary groups have received training and support, generating reported business turnover of up to 34.6 million rupiah ($2,000).
The programme has also recorded a Social Return on Investment (SROI) ratio of 1:4.9, meaning every rupiah invested generated an estimated 4.9 rupiah in social value, according to the company.
TTL said its community programmes were designed to create longer-term economic opportunities by improving skills, supporting business development and increasing household income rather than providing temporary assistance.
The company said the four awards reinforced its commitment to integrating business development with community welfare and environmental protection.
