JICT Throughput in 2022 is 2.02 Million TEUs

The flow of ship calls at the Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) during January-December 2022 recorded 1,467 units.

JICT is the busiest container terminal at Tanjung Priok port, serving import and export activities.

Reporting from Logistiknews.id, with total ship calls throughout 2022 at JICT, the containers that were loaded-unloaded (imported and exported) reached 2,027,776 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) or the equivalent of 1,309,352 boxes.

In detail, the imported containers reached 1,222,138 TEUs, the equivalent of 741,292 boxes, and the exports were 885,638 TEUs (568,060 boxes).

The highest flow of ship visits to JICT over the past year occurred in December, reaching 143 ship calls with a total of 181,723 TEUs (113,613 boxes) of containers and the lowest ship calls occurred in May with 102 units with a throughput of 142,739 TEUs (91,433 boxes).

JICT noted in January 2022, handled 124 ship calls, February 127 ship calls, March 117 ship calls, April 127 ship calls, May 102 ship calls, June 123 ship calls, July 122 ship calls, August 118 ship calls, September 113 ship calls, October 136 ship calls, November 115 ship calls, and December 143 ship calls.
