PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines (SPIL) provides a pay-later payment option for goods delivery transactions. As of May 2023, customers can enjoy the Send Now Pay Later feature through the mySPIL Reloaded application.
t doesn’t have to be large. The Less Container Load (LCL) service available at SPIL makes it easier for traders and MSME players to send goods throughout Indonesia.
“We hear suggestions and input from SPIL customers. Some customers, especially MSME consumers, want additional time relief in payments. Now SPIL comes with the Send Now Pay Later feature to make shipping easier without problems,” said Deddy Wijaya, Finance and Administration Director of PT SPIL, in a press release.
He added SPIL is the first shipping and logistics company to meet the needs of its customers through payment via pay later. Customers are free to determine the nominal amount of payment they choose as long as the pay later limit is still available.
The customer can also set the payment deadline. This pay-later feature accepts installments for some time to come. In the past, customers could choose other strategies if payment was not due. Of course, this will positively impact cash flow, which becomes more stable.
The existence of funds that are still available due to the use of the pay later feature can be maximized for more effective working capital. Business people can divert their money to other business needs. For example, for business development to reach a wider market. The business grew even faster.
Deddy hopes that the existence of this digital payment option will make it easier for SPIL customers to send goods they are worried about without disrupting cash flow. Through the first Logistics SuperApp in Indonesia, SPIL customers can manage more efficient business cash flow planning.
So they also get superior competitiveness on par with more established business people in the same industry by relying on the Send Now Pay Later feature.
