Ferizy Users Rise 15.43% Since January

ASDP says more than four million users accessed Ferizy by July, as digital ticketing expands across 62 ports and supports more orderly ferry operations nationwide

The number of users of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry’s Ferizy digital ticketing platform rose 15.43% to 4,043,299 in July from 3,502,914 in January, the company said.

The increase reflects growing use of digital ticketing as ASDP expands the platform across Indonesia’s ferry network, the state-owned ferry operator said.

Ferizy is currently available at 62 ports, including 36 managed by ASDP and 26 non-ASDP ports, the company said.

ASDP President Director Heru Widodo said the increase in users indicated growing public acceptance of the company’s digital services.

“The increase in Ferizy users demonstrates the growing public trust in ASDP’s digital services,” Widodo said, adding that the platform was intended to support a more orderly and transparent ferry service.

Ferizy allows passengers to purchase tickets and make payments through e-wallets, internet banking, virtual accounts and retail outlets.

ASDP Corporate Secretary Windy Andale said tickets were also available through official partner channels including Indomaret, Alfamart, BNI Agen46, AgenBRILink, Agen BJB, Fastpay and Redbus.

The company encouraged passengers to purchase tickets before their scheduled departure to improve schedule certainty and ensure passenger and vehicle data are recorded before arrival at the port.

ASDP said it plans to expand Ferizy’s implementation, strengthen partnerships and develop further digital services as part of its efforts to modernize Indonesia’s ferry transportation system.
