Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL) has won the 13th BUMN Ministry (Ministry of State-Owned Companies) Award as the Best Corporate in Implementing Green Port among the BUMN subsidiaries. This shows the company’s strong commitment to implementing environmentally friendly and sustainable business practices.
This award is provided to state-owned companies that have demonstrated extraordinary achievements and innovation in developing business by utilizing digital technology to increase competitiveness.
In addition to focusing on business reinvention to optimize business opportunities in the era of Industry 4.0, TTL also emphasizes key issues on changes and adaptation in facing an increasingly advanced and modern industrial era. With such focus and emphasis, the company is expected to be able to adapt to technological developments and customer preferences, thus becoming a driver in the Indonesian economy.

Commending this award, TTL President Director David P. Sirait said: “Thanks, and we send high appreciation to all Terminal Teluk Lamong personnel, stakeholders, partners, and service users for their support so far. Their support has encouraged this terminal to be in this position and continue to develop and contribute to the progress of Indonesian logistics.”
David underlines that this award proves the efforts and achievements of this terminal in developing and implementing policies that focus on environmental and sustainability aspects.
Through the implementation of the green port policy, the company contributes to reducing negative impacts on the environment and promoting the use of new and renewable energy.

TTL has carried out many environmentally friendly programs in 2023, such as “Greenerse,” a movement to plant trees in the terminal area, “Green Wallet” raising awareness of the importance of sorting waste by recording using an application for each employee, the “Recycling Used Ablution Water” program, which turns used water into clean water reused for domestic purposes, and the use of “Solar Cells,” among others.
In addition to focusing on business growth and environmental protection, TTL also carries out digital transformation and develops superior human resource talent. TTL is committed to continuing to improve the quality of its human resources to achieve greater goals.
Attending to directly receive the trophy, David explained that TTL had proven itself as one of the BUMN subsidiaries that were successful in implementing sustainable business practices and had a positive impact on the environment and surrounding communities. “Hopefully, this award can motivate us to achieve even more brilliant achievements in the future, and TTL can strengthen its key position in driving the national economy growth,” he said.
