Pelindo moved to 34th in Fortune Indonesia’s 2026 list after revenue rose 9% in 2025, while higher container and passenger traffic supported continued operational growth
PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo), Indonesia’s state-owned port operator, rose three places to 34th in Fortune Indonesia’s 2026 list of the country’s 100 largest companies, following growth in its 2025 revenue.
The ranking, compiled by Fortune Indonesia based on companies’ fiscal-year 2025 revenue, placed Pelindo at No. 37 in the previous edition.
Pelindo reported operating revenue of 35.48 trillion rupiah ($2.1 billion) in 2025, up 9% from the previous year, according to the company’s report.
“The rise in the Fortune Indonesia 100 ranking is the result of the collective effort of the entire Pelindo workforce in maintaining growth and enhancing service quality,” Pelindo Group Head of Corporate Secretary Benny Ariadi said.
“For us, this achievement is not merely about the ranking position itself, but about how the company’s growth continues to contribute to the nation and the Indonesian economy,” he added.
Pelindo’s container throughput rose 5% in 2025 to 19.8 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), while vessel traffic increased 1% to 1.42 billion gross tons (GT).

Passenger traffic rose 5% to 20.4 million people.
The company said its transformation following its merger has focused on portfolio management, efficiency and productivity, strengthening core businesses and improving service quality under the strategic direction of Danantara Indonesia.
Pelindo said the growth continued into 2026. Container throughput reached about 9.96 million TEUs in the first half, up 7% from the same period a year earlier.
Profit for the period rose about 60.44% year-on-year to 2.57 trillion rupiah in the first half of 2026, the company said.
Pelindo’s contribution to the Indonesian state reached 7.81 trillion rupiah in 2025, up 5% from the previous year. The contribution comprised tax payments, dividends, non-tax state revenue and concession payments.
“The growth in port activities demonstrates that the services and connectivity we manage continue to expand,” Benny said.
“Pelindo will sustain this momentum by enhancing efficiency, productivity and service quality, as well as leveraging technology, ensuring that the benefits are increasingly felt by service users and the public,” he added.
Benny said the company’s inclusion in the Fortune Indonesia 100 would encourage Pelindo to continue improving its performance and strengthening its role in Indonesia’s national logistics chain.
“Moving forward, we will make every effort to ensure that Pelindo’s growth goes hand-in-hand with improved service quality and an increasingly significant contribution to the Indonesian economy,” Benny said.
