Indonesia National Shipowners’ Association Chapter Jakarta (INSA Jaya), in cooperation with Directorate General of Customs and Excise at the Ministry of Finance, hosted workshop on CEISA (Centralized Integrated Inter-Connected Automated) 4.0.
The workshop taking place for two days (December 18-19, 2023) at Sunlake Hotel Jakarta is addressed for shipping lines and shipping agents homebased in Jakarta and surrounding.
Officially opened by Ardhani Naryasti, BKLI Head of Customs Office KPU Tanjung Priok, as many as 100 participants from shipping lines and shipping agents joint the workshop.
On his welcoming speech for workshop, INSA Jaya Secretary Erwin Y Zubir said that this workshop and training will facilitate shipping lines and agents to go with the CIESA 4.0 and support shipping lines and agents to be part of the ecosystem.
INSA Jaya, he said, would conduct the training and workshop in several badges.
“This is our commitment to support shipping lines and agents to go with the updated system of the CIESA. We run it in two badges, and this one is the second with 55 participants,” he said, adding that as many as 45 participants had joint the first badge in September 18.
“We expect the BC to deliver manual book on CIESA 4.0 so we can share them to members,” he said.
BC has developed digital-based platform CIESA 4.0 since 2018.
On her remark speech, Ardani appreciates this training and workshop. “Hopefully, this training will help shipping lines, the member of INSA Jaya in particular, to understand this system and to apply it for their shipping planning,” she said.
Port Authority and Harbour Master KSOP Tanjung Priok appreciates this workshop, hoping that this workshop will facilitate to improve service, the customs service for export import activities, in particular.
“Hopefully this will help to improve the performance of Port of Tanjung Priok and to accelerate the implementation of President Instruction No 2020 on national logistics ecosystem,” Head of KSOP Tanjung Priok said in his written speech.
CEISA 4.0 covers the application of big data and artificial intelligent. CEISA 4.0 is able to show face recognition and character recognition more accurate. CEISA connects auto gate and e-seal real time with Customs Office system, thus creating logistics efficiency.
The implementation of the collaborative CEISA API, through the national logistics ecosystem (NLE) is able to create simplification of business processes and increase idle capacity sharing in the logistics chain in Indonesia. In the CEISA API collaboration concept, it is hoped that the entire logistics chain in Indonesia will develop together, so that it can increase time acceleration and reduce logistics costs.
