The car terminal operator reported mixed third-quarter 2026 performance, with domestic cargo growth, strong liquidity and integrated logistics expansion supporting its long-term business strategy
PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IPCC), a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal within the Pelindo Group, reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening business fundamentals and expanding integrated logistics services at its 2026 Public Expose in North Jakarta on Tuesday, November 3.
Held in a hybrid format at the company’s head office under the theme “Aligned Growth, Strong Foundation, Future Ready!”, the event provided investors with updates on operational performance, financial results and business development prospects.
The presentation was delivered by the company’s Board of Directors, comprising President Director Wing Megantoro; Director of Operations and Engineering, who also serves as Acting Director of Commercial and Business Development, Donny Yuniarto; and Director of Finance, Human Resources and Risk Management Bagus Dwipoyono.
Donny said the company had maintained operational resilience despite global economic uncertainty and challenges facing the automotive industry.
Through September 2026, completely built-up (CBU) vehicle handling volumes increased 13% year-on-year at the domestic terminal and 20% across its five satellite terminals. Growth was supported by stronger domestic vehicle distribution demand, particularly in Banjarmasin and Makassar.
At the international terminal, CBU handling volume reached 332,918 units, down 12% year-on-year. The decline was attributed to the expiration of incentives for electric vehicle imports and shifts in global trade dynamics. The company, however, expressed optimism about a recovery in international cargo volumes by year-end.
Financially, IPCC recorded operating revenue of 645.48 billion rupiah and net profit of 177.18 billion rupiah through September 2026, representing respective year-on-year declines of 2.24% and 6.89%.
Despite the softer financial performance, the company maintained a strong liquidity position. Its current ratio increased to 663.19% from 526.05% a year earlier, while its cash ratio rose to 605.67% from 486.09%.
IPCC also reported that it had no bank loans or outstanding bonds, providing financial flexibility to support ongoing operations and future business expansion.
President Director Wing said the company was continuing to strengthen its “Integrated Auto Solutions” strategy by expanding vehicle transportation services and developing end-to-end logistics solutions.
The services include terminal management, vehicle storage and handling through Vehicle Distribution Centers, as well as Car Distribution Management services supported by car carriers, towing and self-drive transportation options.
Under its 2026-2030 business development roadmap, IPCC plans to increase terminal capacity and improve facilities, integrate satellite terminal services, accelerate business digitalization and expand its operational network.
The initiatives are aimed at capturing growth opportunities in Indonesia’s automotive industry while strengthening the company’s position in the national vehicle logistics and distribution sector.
