IPC TPK Renews Legal Cooperation with North Jakarta Prosecutors

Agreement extends legal assistance covering civil and administrative matters, supporting regulatory compliance, operational governance and risk mitigation at container terminal operator

PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) has renewed its legal cooperation agreement with the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office, extending collaboration on civil and state administrative law matters to support regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU), signed on Thursday at the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office, extends a partnership that has been in place for several years. The agreement covers legal assistance in handling civil and state administrative law (DATUN) matters.

Agus Fazri, IPC TPK’s Senior Manager of Law and Procurement, said the cooperation forms part of the company’s preventive risk management strategy.

“Legal assistance is a crucial preventive risk mitigation measure for IPC TPK,” Agus said.

“Beyond resolving legal issues, support from the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office helps ensure that our operational, procurement and administrative activities comply with prevailing regulations and principles of accountability.”

The signing ceremony was attended by officials from the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office and IPC TPK management.

The agreement was signed by IPC TPK President Director Guna Mulyana and North Jakarta District Prosecutor Syahrul Juaksha Subuki, and witnessed by Pelindo Executive Director II Budi Prasetio.

Under the agreement, the prosecutor’s office will provide legal assistance and advisory services to help ensure the company’s operational and administrative activities remain aligned with Indonesian laws and regulations.

Agus said the renewed partnership would strengthen cooperation between the two institutions and provide greater legal certainty for the company.

“We hope this renewed cooperation will further strengthen the synergy between IPC TPK and the North Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office,” he said. “This support provides legal certainty as IPC TPK continues to improve the performance of its container terminal operations.”
