PT Hasnur Internasional Shipping Tbk. (HAIS), a prominent leader in the Indonesian logistics and maritime transportation sector, has reported extraordinary financial achievements during the first three quarters of 2023. The company’s net profit, totaling Rp118.97 billion, has surged by an impressive 51.60% compared to the same period in 2022 when it stood at Rp78.48 billion.
This outstanding growth in net profit can be attributed to the company’s exceptional revenue performance. For the period of January to September 2023, Hasnur Internasional Shipping recorded a total revenue of Rp680.92 billion, marking substantial growth of 25.80% from the previous year’s Rp541.29 billion.
Furthermore, the company has witnessed a substantial increase in operating profit, reporting Rp125.93 billion for the January to September 2023 period. This represents a remarkable 47.69% growth compared to the operating profit for the same period in 2022, which was Rp85.27 billion.

The growth in the company’s revenue coincides with its robust operational performance, inclusive of a significant increase in the volume of cargo transported. During the period of January to September 2023, the company successfully shipped 8.11 million metric tons (MT) of cargo, reflecting a noteworthy 19.58% increase compared to the same period in the previous year when it transported 6.79 million MT.
Coal constituted the dominant cargo during the January-September 2023 period, accounting for 97.87% of the total cargo volume, with the remaining percentage being gypsum and wood.
The company’s shipping segment played a pivotal role in the overall performance, contributing 98.04% to the total revenue, equivalent to Rp667.56 billion. The loading and unloading segment contributed 1.96% to the company’s revenue.
Looking forward to the end of 2023, HAIS is optimistic about surpassing its cargo volume target, with a goal to transport 10.14 million MT. This ambitious target represents a 14.12% increase from the 2022 target of 8.89 million MT, underscoring the company’s unwavering commitment to sustaining financial growth and operational excellence in Indonesia’s dynamic maritime and logistics sector.
