Priok Throughput Reaches 7.6 Million TEUs, Marking Significant Growth in 2024

Tanjung Priok Port recorded remarkable performance throughout 2024, showing significant year-on-year growth in both ship calls and cargo volumes. This robust growth also boosted revenue for Indonesia’s largest port, including contributions to Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), solidifying Tanjung Priok Port’s position as the top PNBP contributor nationwide.

This achievement was celebrated during the 2025 New Year’s event, titled “Last Call Ship in 2024 and First Call Ship in 2025,” held at the Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok Office Park in Jakarta

The event featured a performance by the legendary band ‘Kusplus Junior’ and was attended by employees of Regional 2 Tanjung Priok, Pelindo Regional 2 executives, representatives from Pelindo subsidiaries, and various stakeholders. These included government agencies, port authorities, customs, quarantine offices, police, and other key organizations.

Also present were representatives from industry associations, such as the Indonesian National Shipowners’ Association (INSA), the Indonesian Stevedoring Companies’ Association (APBMI), the Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders’ Association (ALFI/ILFA), and trucking associations like Organda Ansuspel, APTRINDO, and Logindo.
